Lighten my hair with lemon juice?

i have brown hair and i was wondering if i should use lemon juice or hydrogen peroxide. which one has better results. i heard that when people with brown hair use lemon juice it turns a brassy orange color.

im not sure if i would hate this color. so if anyone had a picture of hair that color i would really apreciate you sending it to me. thank you :]

Lemon juice only works well on blondes. Do not use hydrogen peroxide---your hair will turn orange!!!!

I have died my hair for years. You look young so I would suggest not dying your hair for some time. Once you dye it, you find yourself dying it more and more. It becomes costly and it also dries out your hair. I have used the juice when i was younger. It does get lighter. The good thing about it is that it's not a chemical. I'm not exactly sure if i used lemon or lime. Your hair looks good in the picture.

Okay so during the summer I put lemon juice in my hair (I am a brunnette) it worked somewhat, but not really noticable. Then I found a recipe where you take chamomile tea(u can buy this in the grocery store) and mix it with lemon juice and go out in the sun for the day. It works great and lightens ur hair. As for the peroxide, i tried that a week ago and then i blow dried it (its heat activated, u dont need the sun) most ppl dont recomend peroxide but i tried it and yes, it gives you blondish, oragnish streaks and i like it. So yes Hydrogen peroxide and lemon juice work.

lemon juice fries your hair. im sorry =/ my friend did that, and like a week after, she had soo many split ends and her hair was ah. it was ruined. but hm. maybe you can try the new loreal highlighting? or just dye it? ...well i have like dark brown hair..and what i use, is 2 cups of apple cider vinegar, a teaspoon of honey and 1/2 cup of water. and then i spray it in my hair evenly..and then sit out in the sun for 30 min. and then wash it out. do it maybe a couple of times till u get the color you want =)
