Take a shower and condition hair really well. Then let it air dry, and straighten it forward. Put a light-holding gel in your hair, comb hair forward and use some hair spray and that should do it. :)

Blow dry it while brushing. It'll dry straight, but will be pretty floofy. You could also just let it dry naturally, and straighten only sections, and do a spiffy little updo. The contrasting textures would look pretty nifty.

well you just asked how to get it straight and you dont like to straighten it because you always do it so im assuming its obviously annoying to do so....why dont you permanently straighten it. =D if you do that, you can wake up without combing your hair and it'll be perfectly straight. its called japanese straightning...its around $100-$150.

Well, I dont have any pics, but herbal essense has a great amount of shampoos and conditioners to make your hair straighter. Without a straightener, you will probably get wavy hair or some what straight hair, it wont be perfect, it really depends on the thickness and curliness of your hair.

This is what i did. Japanese straightening is good and all, but it is way too expensive. It costs hundreds of dollars i think, so just try this method. =] it should give you the same results.

First, go to a local drugstore and go buy a home perming kit.

Then, follow all the steps except you dont put the curlers in your hair.

Your hair should turn from really curly to dead straight. But make sure you relaly do want straight hair, because this stuff is permanent.

If you use a permanent but don't roll it up, it will straighten your hair. You have to buy it at a beauty supply and definitely have them recommend the most gentle perm before you try it. Tell them what you want to do.

Try a relaxer..? Depends on what type of hair you have though???

They normally have these kiosk's in the mall where they have this straightening comb... kind of like a flat. iron. That works really well on ALL types of hair....black, white, Asian, any kind. Its really great and doesn't damage you hair.

people also use pickel juice to keep it in the style you want but you have to use pickel juice to rinse your hair then shampoo it.

My sisters is 11 and her hair is kind of thick and mostly straight (A little wavy) and her hair gets tangled really easy and she hates and refues to brush it and if she does brush it then she only brushes the top layer and underneath is still tangled or she screams and crys because it hurts to brush the tangles (Yes she uses conditioner and detangling spray)!! Anyways her hair is past her sholders and she has long bangs!! She hats putting her hair up so she usually wears it down!! I told her she should get straight across bangs at her eyebrows and realyl short layers so that her hair won't get tangled, but will short layers make it a frizz ball?? layers should help. It sounds like she might have a lot of split ends, and she will have to get her hair cut to get rid of them, so it may be shorter than she wants....

Don't make her get bangs if she doesn't want them.

If she brushes her hair more regularly it won't be as tangled. Before getting in the shower, comb in the shower, and after she gets out and drys her hair. In the morning when she gets up, and at night before she goes to bed.

a wide toothed comb will help too.

maybe getting a different brush will help as well, one that can reach through all her hair.

my hair is exactly likes hers! i have side bangs and its only layered a couple inches off the bottom. short layers make thick hair look even thicker so i don't want it. and mine used to be so easily tangled too but first i brush my hair before i go in the shower. then i use shampoo %26amp; while i'm rinsing off the conditioner i brush it in the shower while the conditioner is still on. then while its untangled in the water i wring it to remove the excess water and brush it again and its not tangled! and i also use leave in conditioner. and for the really big tangles, just use your fingers and for the smaller ones hold your hair in the middle and brush it so it doesn't hurt.

red is the hardest hair dye color to get out, it's even worse than black hair dye

If you really want, go for it. I would let a stylist do it though. It is difficult to lighten hair that much evenly with store bought stuff. It is also more gentle if done by a stylist.

Also keep in mind that red is VERY hard to get rid of. It is very resistant to being dyed over. If you do it and choose to go back dye it an Ash Brown, the cooler ash color will defeat the red easier then a basic brown or golden brown.

It depends on how thick your hair is.. I would try and test a few things tonight..

Try straigning your hair with hair straightner.

Or if u have thick hair you could get ur hair wet flip ur head upside down and put a dime-quarter size drop of hair gel into your hand and rub it into ur hand then work it from your scalp to the end.. dont just slide your hands through it though sqeeze and crunch it.. next blow dry it on low upside down while crunching your hair... then when it is dry you should take your bangs and clip them on the top of ur head making a small poof

First of all remember she has so many hair stylists doing it for her but, It looks like some basic black eyeliner along the bottom of the eye, but not all the way across. Possibly some clear or light pink lip gloss. The hair is probably done with, I know you dont want to hear it but.. Hair curler... But the curls are bigger and not all "Boingy".. I would say use a hair curler but spread apart your hair on the curler when you curl it so it will be a "fuller, spread out, longer curl." Hope i could help...

I'm trying to plan ahead of time of what I want my hair and make-up from prom to look like, and I know exactly what I want, but I cant seem to find any pictures.

I have red hair, green eyes, and tan skin. My dress is a maroon color with a black sheer overlay, it's an a-line dress, strapless, and goes to the floor.

For my hair I want a 40's style type of look, sorta something along the line of pin-up girls and dita von teese. A good example would be Christina Aguleria's new look. I want it to be an up-do though. For make-up I want it to be a cross between sophia bush and dita von teese, the whole natural but fierce look.

Mainly, I need help with the hair though. If you have any suggestions, or better yet pictures, I'd appreciate it

If your brave enough I would try going for a really piecy layered cut. (try to keep it as long as you can, the extensions might have damaged your hair) and I think you would look amazing with a dark warm brown.

That is a total change, but as I said before you could probably pull of anything. (er, I wouldn't do a pink afro- somethings don't work on anybody)

Hey u look great already! But if u really wanna change your hair... Blonde looks awesome on you. I like the thing that there's brown under, it really makes your hair trendy. If u still want to stick to the blonde, u can do highlights(I suggest black if u want a contrast, light brown for a nice look and red for an unusual rock star look, or the combination). U can also make your hair look like stairs(I don't really know what's it exactly called in English). Or... make waves maybe. If u want to do that here is the recipe(my friend told me it's good, I still haven't tried it):

mix 1/2 half litars water

2 big spoons sea salt

some hair gel

Wash your hair then spray this on damp hair. For a better effect, while your hair is wet(almost dry), curl your hair around your finger, then pin it. Leave it that way for about 45 minutes, fan it, then take of the hair pins. That really works, I do it often. Creates large, beautiful curls, and after some time when the curls "come down" it looks wavy. Looks cool.

on hair websites....my personal opinion is that when you have blonde hair with black highlights, it looks very bad. Its like your half brunette and half blonde. I think it looks disgusting. Unless its not platinum blonde and the highlights are scattered around your whole hair, not just little strands.

Don't cut your hair short. I cut mine very short a couple of years ago and its finally starting to get long again, but I regretted cutting my hair more than anything. I look at old pictures of my long hair and I get pissed off because I cut it. Don't cut it short unless you are completley certain you want it.

Blonde peek-a-boo highlights would make you unique to all those girls with black or brown, and personally, I think it would look much prettier. Ashlee Simpson had that light brown bob and underneath she had blonde peek-a-boo highlights, there's a link under sources if you want to see what I'm talking about. There aren't a lot of pics of that kind of coloring so go for it. You could also do copper or red, any color you would use to traditionally highlight your hair would probably work and you can use the samples from your salon and place them on top of each other or under your hair to see what it would look like. If you don't want to go as dark as black then you should try a deep chocolate brown.

It is dark but not as stark. My hair is a very light brown and I dyed it chocolate brown last winter and it turned out great. It wasn't as intense as when I tried black but I still got the dramatic effect against my fair skin.

Check the color suggestions on the hair color box you want. you have dark hair if you want it that light get that color a little lighter just cause it might turn out better than that exact color on dark hair just making your hair look a little lighter

Yah, just be careful when going lighter, if you try to go too light you could end up with unwanted red tones. try an ashy/neutral shade to balance this out. And remember, those models aren't rly wearing that dye...the color is just representative. Overall, it would be much better to go to a pro. It could be cheaper in the long run, better results and..exactly what you want.

I think it would look fine. I've had my hair from black to blonde [naturally black] and I've always kept my eyebrows the same. My advice: get your hair done on a friday night, and make an appointment for the next day to do your eyebrows. That friday, decide whether you would want to dye the eyebrows or not, and if you don't, simply cancel the appointment. [they may even appreciate free time with a cancelled appointment]

Just don't bleach it at home. NEVER do that. Bleaching damaged your hair no matter what, but the salons keep it as healthy as possible.

It's all depends on where you go. If you want ot save money you could have a friend help you color your hair since it looks like it's one solid color. It looks like she has a really dark brown. Don't dye it black because it's really hard to lighten it. As far as the hair cut, I'd say no more the $50 depending where you go just make sure you bring in the picture.

I would suggest roller setting it. Once it dries, then un-roll it and ur hair will be in big, bouncy curls. But, remember to use very big rollers for that style. Hope I helped.

I'd say from 4 - 6 months, and just bring the picture to the salon so that you can get it done that way. You need to show the picture to the stylist. Also, this guy has highlights, so that will make a difference in how the overall look of the cut will be when it is done. Just a heads up. No pun intended.

I'd say about 3 months if you eat your fruits and veggies. When your healthy, so is your hair. Never forget that! That's why anorexics lose so much hair! You need to eat/drink and you will have gorgeous hair in no time. If you are dieting, it might take your hair up to 6 months to look like that, and seriously who wants to wait that long?!

I have had good luck using fructis leave in conditioner, leave in shine syrum (sp?) The softer i make my hair, by using conditioners and leave in softener and shine products the better it takes to a flat iron. I have been able to keep natrually wavy hair straight in 90% humidity, I cant say my hair didnt look too shiny by the END of the day. people with dark hairs have alot of natural oil in thier hair too...........

rollers for sure. you can go out and get velcro rollers, but if your crafty you can use papertowel or toilet paper tubes and pins... if you get velcro rollers get somewhere around 1 to 2 inches * about the same size as a paper towel tube* in diameter. Use volumising mousse if you have fine hair, volumising gel if you have coarse hair and put it in clean damp hair. Tip your head upside down and blowdry till its perfectly dry.. tip up, and it should be all fluffy. put them in, using sections the same size as the roller . do a quick blast of shaping hairspray then roll from ends to your roots, away from your face. once theyre all wrapped mist all over lightly with spray... let them sit in there for minimum 3 hours...you can sleep on velcro rollers, just wear a silk scarf to prevent frizzies.... or if your in a rush, blast them with a hot hairdryer untill theyre all hot, then let them cool off completely. take them out and rake through with your fingers to break them up a bit . You cant sleep on paper towel tubes or your curls will be lumpy and mishapen as your head would crush the rollers...you can back comb the crown area *top of your head, towards the back, the highest point* and spray it so it wont slip out, then smooth it gentlyso it doesnt look ratty and spray lightly with hairspray again..if you want it really shiney like hers get some shine spray, not a serum, and lightly mist it on there... a serum will be too heavy and weigh it down. the smaller the curlers, the tighter the curls... but how your hair takes curls also plays a part... i would get a few (2 maybe 3) different sizes as you'll need a few packs anyways and play around with different patterns of putting them in. i would put smaller ones on top for volume/curl and bigger ones on the bottom for just a wavy and some body, or you can mix them all up...play around till you make it your own... if its too curl the first time, rake and rake and rake, itll pull out some of the curl and make it wavy.... but curls also fall over time.. find a nice balance.. happy hairstyling!

Okay, get a bunch of those little tinie rubber bands and just start piecing off your hair and puting each piece in a little messy bun, do this around your head so it is taking up most of the back of your head and there are no bald spots. some of the hair will come out and be a bit curly. tie a head band around your head. and your done! it is soooo cute. Although your long dark hair is beautiful, if you a looking for a change I think you should cut it above your shoulders with a choppy look and maybe some highlights around your face to bring out you dark complection. Also try a staightening iron after the cut and color is finished.

Last night i dyed my hair natural black by loreal feria permanant level 3. It didn't come out as i pictured it. My hair is naturally dark brown and my hair looks like a wig. i DO NOT want to go get it bleached or stripped out because i dont want to damage my hair any more. So after a week or so of everyday shampooing of head and shoulders will the extremely Black hair dye fade to light black?

No. I've done that and its there for good. There is not a lot you can do except get it stripped. you cannot dye over it and it does not wash out.

When I had dyed black hair, the dye came out in the shower ever time I shampooed, but it never seemed to be getting any lighter. It seemed to fade a TINY bit when I would use extra clarifying shampoo, but otherwise black is a jerk to try and get out without bleaching. Good luck!

It will fade eventually. you're probably gonna go a week before you see any improvement. you have to learn how your hair absorbs color. when I dye mine dark brown, it looks black for a week. Next time go a shade or two lighter than you think you will need.

However, it still remained very dark. Since your natural color is dark brown, it wouldn't be that bad trying to grow it out.. it would probably blend nicely.

you can either take hot rollers and do this or sponge rollers (which you use with wet hair) or a curling iron.. but basically you just "ringlet roll" it. Not hard....

you take then end and then roll it all the way up like vertical and not horizontal...

print out the pictures, take them to a salon and they'll do it just right. You can ask them (usually they just tell you.) how to do it yourself so you're not there everyday. If you're good at that kind of stuff, you might only have to go there once to find out how to do it.

If it is short(not quite to your shoulders), you may like to try some pins or a simple headband, or just teasing it a bit.

If it is long enough to tie up, I suggest to tie it up loosely with some hair accessories too. Less is more. The hair is what you want to show, not the accessories. Hair up can be very elegant if the top has some volume too, so maybe tease it before putting it up. Hair let down seems more of a winter thing to me.

Don't forget earrings! Big or dangly ones look great with hair put up!

ok.. i promise this will work.. wash your hair, while its still wet put a palm-full of any kind of aussie medium hold mousse in your hair and blow dry it. part it on the side and curl it with a ceramic curling iron.. wear it like that for a day and then sleep on it.. when you wake up in the morning, brush out the curls, your hair will still have some wave.. then use your blow dryer to kind of fluff it up a little.. voila! beautiful wavy hair :) (no one will even know you didnt wash it that mroning ;)

The best way would be to put on rollers to get it that way. Part your hair like she does and then put on rollers from there. If you want it more wavy then smaller rollers and if you want it like hers i suggest bigger rollers. Thats how i get mine like that.

a ceramic 1" hair curler will do. Ceramic will make your curls last longer but you also have to put a lot of hair spray.

First spray ONLY the bottom of your hair with hair spray and take strand by strand of your hair AND SPRAY JUST A LITTLE BIT MORE OF HAIR SPRAY (this takes about a half an hour or to an hour) and use your iron curler and roll from the tip of your hair strand and roll it up. I've done my sisters hair for their proms and school picture taking. Make sure you roll all your strands into all in one direction not to the left and the rest are to the right your curls will look confused and complicated. THEN WHEN ALL YOUR CURLS SPRAY YOUR CURLS SOME MORE WITH HAIR SPRAY I KNOW IT'S A LOT BUT TRUST ME THE HAIR SPRAY DOES MAGIC This is the best on how I could explain it to you it's better to show it to someone than typing it. wash your hair then put it up in the biggest velcro rollers you can find, let it dry like this, blowdry with the rollers in if you like. dont put any really heavy thick products in your hair before you put the rollers in and dont use any products afterwards. pull the rollers out gently and carefully so you dont pull out the shape and rip your hair. a little bit of light hair spray will hold it so it doesnt go flat. if you really cant do it yourself get a hair stylist to show you how then you can do it at home.

Blow dry it while brushing. It'll dry straight, but will be pretty floofy. You could also just let it dry naturally, and straighten only sections, and do a spiffy little updo. The contrasting textures would look pretty nifty.

Well, I dont have any pics, but herbal essense has a great amount of shampoos and conditioners to make your hair straighter. Without a straightener, you will probably get wavy hair or some what straight hair, it wont be perfect, it really depends on the thickness and curliness of your hair.

This is what i did. Japanese straightening is good and all, but it is way too expensive. It costs hundreds of dollars i think, so just try this method. =] it should give you the same results.

First, go to a local drugstore and go buy a home perming kit.

Then, follow all the steps except you dont put the curlers in your hair.

Your hair should turn from really curly to dead straight. But make sure you relaly do want straight hair, because this stuff is permanent.

If you use a permanent but don't roll it up, it will straighten your hair. You have to buy it at a beauty supply and definitely have them recommend the most gentle perm before you try it. Tell them what you want to do.

Try a relaxer..? Depends on what type of hair you have though???

They normally have these kiosk's in the mall where they have this straightening comb... kind of like a flat. iron. That works really well on ALL types of hair....black, white, Asian, any kind. Its really great and doesn't damage you hair.

Try going into a salon and having it chemically straightened which will save you from having to use a flat iron everyday.

Any ideas on how to get my hair really straight! ( i have REALLy curly hair) ANYTHING OTHER THAN A STRAIGHTNER

straighten your hair with a iron and then use a straighting iron.

people also use pickel juice to keep it in the style you want but you have to use pickel juice to rinse your hair then shampoo it.

i think i might try that today.
