I honestly don't think that blonde is the right colour for you. You have gorgeous strong features and blonde would kind of wash them out. You would look gorgeous with really dark, chocolaty brown hair. Go to this picture to see what I mean:

You would suit the chestnut, ginger brown, dark auburn, chocolate copper, ebony, dark chocolate and midnight brown.

When you go to the hair dressers, take a picture of the hair colour that you want becaue then they can get the closest colour possible and you won't have to worry about explaining it.

to be honest i don't think you could pull off being that blonde. you look gorgeous as a brunette anyways! at the very most i would just get highlights. at least start out with that so you can tell how blonde is gonna look on you.

fashions come an go hair colours change everyday stay your colour an be happy if you must try another colour then try just a lighter or darker colour.you are pretty an i dont think any drastic colour changes will make you look any better

I want to change my hair to a brownish/blondish. My hair is naturally black and whenever I color over with something light it turns out orangey-copperish and i hate it.

I would get some highlights to get the lighter color and then don't straighten it so much, try a round brush to blow dry and then a BIG curling iron the get the big wave in it.

looks like all u need is to highlight it. the color looks like a milky brown or something. highlights should do the trick.

Anytime you want a look like the girl in your second pic, you need to see a professional colorist. She doesn't have just one color going on there. Your picture shows that you dyed your hair yourself and you will only get one color. Black hair has to be colored in steps, if going lighter. The first one being the lightening of your hair and then the adding of color.

Don't attempt to do this yourself. Seek out a pro and you will get the results you want.

I would put thin highlights all over. Highlights basically just bleach the hair so it should definately take out the brassiness, just be sure to keep it in for the maximum time before you rinse it out. Then when the hair is dry and brushed it will blend in with your darker hair and give you an allover lighter haircolor.

Flyaway hair can really be a drag always looking messy

i put a little gel in it while it is wet and comb it straight. also you can use a leave in conditoner ,or take a flat iron to it to smooth it out.

use clips if possible to hold it in place also

well first off i would make sure that u have the same type of layers becasue this look is all about layers if u dont have them ur screwed! lol so bring this pic to ur stylist/hairdresser let them no thats what u want and u want to be able to reproduce it so have the stylist talk u through the steps and actually try there in the salon cause the stylists can get the back of ur head a whole lot easier so they can tell u how to fix what ur doing.
